Savannah's 2 Months Old!

Well look-y here! Savannah is now 2 months old!
She's growing by leaps & bounds, testing out her vocal chords and really taking a good look at her surroundings.

A big deal this month was that our baby became a US citizen, received her US passport and UAE resident's visa!  I think her passport photo is pretty much the cutest passport photo around.
The US govt also gave her a really cool document reporting her birth abroad.  She's ready to start globe trotting!

Savannah has graduated from her bassinet to her big crib and is now sleeping on her own in her nursery...though mommy still brings her to cuddle in bed after her 6am feeding.

She is over 12 lbs now, is in size 3 diapers and her 3-6 month clothing is starting to get snug.  Luckily, as soon as flu/cold season ends and she gets her 2 month vaccines, mommy is planning on taking her on frequent shopping trips instead of relying so heavily of ordering clothes online.

She really is changing every day and as her vision is starting to
sharpen, her interaction is really picking up and she's becoming such a joy to be around.
She still wakes up 1-2 times a night, but after having diaper changed, eating and being rocked...goes right back to sleep.

This month, her daddy attempted to bake her a red velvet cake, only to roam from store to store looking for red food coloring.  No luck.  In the end, it was probably for the best as I later read red food coloring isn't the best thing for any of us to consume.  It ended up turning into a yummy chocolate cake with cream cheese frosting.

Likes this month:
-Bath time is still a favorite
-Staring at contrasting lighting/sunlight
-Listening to music
-Loves her baby books - listens attentively as books are read to her, especially  Baby Words, Cat in the Hat and Very Hungry Caterpillar
-Walks around the neighborhood with the pups

Dislikes:
-Ending bath time
-Being disrupted for any reason during feedings
-Waking up and not being cuddled
