Award-winning Arabian Courtyard Hotel & Spa, located in the heart of the ancient cultural district in Bur Dubai has announced the opening of Pharaoh Café & Restaurant.
True to its slogan, “Feel the Touch of Ancient Egyptian Legacy”, Pharaoh Café & Restaurant is the evolution of Egyptian and Mediterranean cuisines catering to all types of palates and there are several other signature dishes that bring a new level of excitement due its unique setting and presentation style to the dinners.
Other day I was at Pharaoh Cafe and Restaurant to get a feel of the outlet. Being the PR/Media account handler of the property, a food blogger as well, thought it'd be nice to just physically around and amend the curiosity that filled me being a first-timer to an Egyptian-themed restaurant.
More than just a press release that I wrote about, this spacious restaurant features Egyptian and Mediterranean cuisines catering to all types of palates including vegetarian, non-veg and vegan, in an atmosphere that is a tribute to travelers and local residents bringing them a unique experience of UAE heritage.
Koshary, one of the most popular dishes is a complete vegetarian and full of nutrition. Another specialty of the Pharaoh Café is delicious camel burger for those who wish to explore an exotic dining experience. There are several other signature dishes that bring a new level of excitement due its unique setting and presentation style to the dinners.
And, for those on the go, Pharaoh Restaurant is set as a mini Egyptian Museum right across the Dubai Museum. The restaurant also serves exciting cocktail and wines to compliment the taste and a refreshing after-meal cup of “Karkadeh” (Hibiscus tea).
I’m quite glad to have tried my first visit to an Egyptian-themed restaurant with my good friend, Femy. I’m also glad it was in an elegant ambiance with earthy artworks of mummies and papyrus, treasure-chests and the staff are friendly. And so here we are!
