Back to School! Back to Blogging

I'm celebrating my little girl's first day in Early PreSchool so I thought it was a good day as any to go back to the blogging world!

So much to update on since we moved back to Texas from the Middle East!  I'll have to take these step-by-step or else I'll get overwhelmed and break away from it.

I'm thinking a room-by-room update of our home as I finish decorating each room (I remind myself it's ok to still have a few boxes here and there...we moved mid April). 

I'll also update some on our summer adventures and our new lives as Texas parents (it is SO different to parenting abroad!!). 

Of course, I'll provide plenty of updates on my stylish little pal...like this lovely picture of her first day in Early PreSchool today!  She's growing up so fast!

She's 20 months old now, fit as a fiddle and in the 95th percentile for height! 

2T clothing fits...though I give her until the end of winter before she needs 3T pants based on her super long build.  

She is so smart!  She can count to 5 but tries going up to 10 (who needs the numbers 7 & 8 anyway?). 

She knows the first five letters of the alphabet and doesn't like singing her ABCs as she'd rather you go letter-by-letter with her, practicing the sounds, as she's determined to learn all 26 of them!  She kicked the bottle habit at exactly 20 months old, started sleeping through the night at around 17 months (after about 3 nights of fighting me hard).  

She's got an amazingly sweet personality  and is in super learning mode repeating EVERY WORD she hears. 

She is awesome!
