Savannah's 4 Month Birthday

Time has flown around the house and our baby has had another great big growth spurt.
Savannah is now 14 lbs! This month, she had another set of vaccines and turned a wonderful shade of purple and did what she could to try and kick the nurses holding her down.

She has grown to be so very strong...and determined!

We have our hands full with her. Her doctor picked up on her energy and decided to run a few tests on her blood pressure and heart and came to determine that Savannah just naturally has high levels of adrenaline (hereditary he said). Not that much of a shocker considering her daddy and mommy tend to go a mile-a-minute.

This, of course, has had us running around like crazies to keep her attention. Our baby is high energy!

Savannah celebrated Easter this month and spent her first full day at home with just the nanny. It was a nervous day for all involved, but she seemed to have taken it in stride.

Unfortunately, this month was just too crazy to bake a cake on her day...but she got lots of new toys to make up for it, which I'm sure she prefers anyway as she doesn't eat cake!

Speaking of eating, another new step...weaning onto formula. I stressed and stressed about this, but we finally came to terms it was the best for all involved that we start adding a little formula to the feeding routine. Savannah took it well and she still gets most of her food the natural way, but with time constraints involving a pretty demanding job (I'm still technically on leave...but really, I'm back to work full time now), a combo of both is for the best. All in the house are so much more at peace now that we've closed the issue on the great nursing debate!

Savannah has been out & about for all sorts of Abu Dhabi events including fancy brunches and shopping! As she becomes more and more her own person, she's also becoming such fun to take out!
