I love my baby with all my might, but those first three months were tough!
Now, Savannah is a delight - albeit, a drooly one...but even the drool is sweet.
She is a chatter box of the likes I've never seen before! I think she may even beat me!
We see her try her hardest to copy the sounds we make so we make it a point to always show her everything around us, no matter the surrounding and tell her what everything is called.
You see her little eyes scanning and learning every step of the way.
Savannah has developed a great love of music. She likes being sang to and especially enjoys (much to her daddy's delight) when her daddy plays the guitar and sings along at the same time. She actually tries to sing along herself. It's adorable!

My favorite development apart from the contstant chatter is her early appreciation of books. She focuses so hard and follows my finger as I point each word out while reading to her. As soon as I turn the page, she carefully scans all of the pictures, left-to-right then makes eye contact with me. I use that as my cue to start reading. I am in awe of her!! Sharp kid, I tell ya'!
We're down to waking up once or twice in the middle of the night. She's not incredibly fussy then either - just wants a diaper change and for her tummy to be filled up for the next few hours of sleep. If she wakes up near the time that daddy wakes up for work, Savannah gets brought in to finish her sleeping in the bed with us. She is a very good cuddler!

Either way, we bring her in each morning to cuddle with in the wee hours.
Savannah got to meet her maternal grandparents this month!! They flew in to Dubai all the way from Houston just to meet her! She loved spending time with them and really took a sweetness to her grandma. She giggled in delight as soon as her grandma would talk to her in Spanish.
It was a great time for all and it was so sweet to watch them interact for the first time. Also this month, iIt seems early, but we think the drooling and constant need to put her hands in her mouth are an indicator that we may see some teeth sprouting soon. We have all kinds of teething toys and teething gels ready!
Our newborn has grown into an infant and is slowly inching her way into toddlerhood!

Dislikes:
Ending bath time
Those 3 seconds when a shirt is being pulled over her head
Being interrupted while eating to be made to burp
