We have just got back from a trip to the UK. We had my Niece Diane's wedding to go to and my daughter Alice was due to give birth. Well, she managed to fit it in two days before we were due to leave! She gave birth to Alfie Jack (9lb 5oz) on 29/8. He is awesome, Alice and Josh are proud parents and I am a very proud granddad! He is blessed with many grand parents, so differentiate us Alice likes calling me and Caz "Baba" and "Omi" (which is Arabic for Granddad and Grandma) - we like it too, so it's sticking!
When we got the news we were at my other daughter's (Jessica) house and for some strange reason (which I can't recall right now!) we took this picture!
